What I want readers to know about the book:

For younger readers who did not personally experience the times about which I write, I hope they find it informative and entertaining. For those who traveled through the women's movement, Free Speech Movement, and women who explored their sexuality as a feminist statement, I hope Episodes provides some validation and sisterhood. For my readers who struggle with addiction, whether drugs, alcohol, or sexual relations, I hope the book is entertaining and inspirational. And for firefighters everywhere who experienced the introduction of women into their departments, I hope Episodes gives cause for reflection and compassion for the plight of the early women in this line of work.
